Police officers are investigating a wooded field near John B. White Sr. Blvd because someone reported a dead body. The person said that they were parked in the vacant parking lot when they discovered the body. As the police say, it appears that the body was seated at the game trail when they died. Investigators say that it is too early to know if there is anything suspicious about this death. The local police also say that they are treating this case with care. The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office will have more information at a later date. The investigation is ongoing, as the police say.
