The supreme court draft of overturning Row vs. Wade has been leaked. Here’s what you need to know:

In this draft, the supreme court talks about overturning abortion rights for the states to decide. The states that are most likely to ban abortion by the end of the year include:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Lowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Many of these states will choose to either have a complete ban or the 6 week ban. A 6-week ban explains that a woman can have an abortion as long as the baby is under 6 weeks. The reason why the 6-week ban is such a problem for many women is most find out they’re pregnant around the 11th week. This might as well be a complete ban.

People aren’t just upset by that right being taken away from them but in Texas they are taking this to an extreme that we have not seen before. They will be investigating miscarriages. These mothers who lose their babies can be charged with murder if they found out that they had an intentional miscarriage.

Many people feel that these new laws and regulations are invasive and unjust.

Protests have broken out since the leak. The saying  “My body, my choice” has been heard loud throughout many state streets. Planned Parent Hood has given their opinion on the case. Referring to Texas, Planned Parent Hood writes, “stories of heartbreak, chaos, and crisis have come out of Texas.” Planned Parent Hood also shares abortion statics like ” before this health care was legal and safe, illegal abortions caused at least 1 in 6  pregnancy-related deaths ”
