Checking In

Lauren Ingle, Assistant Editor

With everything going on in the world right now I thought it would be a good time to say that you are doing an amazing job. You are taking all of the craziness in the world, and you are trying your best to stay on top of everything. You are going to school, trying your best on each and every assignment you do, and making sure that all assignments are getting complete on time.

You may be going to a job everyday to earn money for things that will help you in the future. You may be playing a sport that allows you to feel better about everything going on in the world. No matter what grade you are in, we are all affected by the pandemic and other things that are going on in the world. It is okay to need someone to talk to. It is okay to ask for help when you need it. We are all in this together, whether you are virtually learning or in class right now. Everyone is trying to sort out things and make things possible so that you get a good education, and maybe even a better year.

Sometimes we just need a little support. Sometimes we are not completely sure what to do, or how we can fix what has already happened. Everyone has questions and we may not have answers, but it does not ever hurt to ask. We, as a school, have amazing teachers, guidance counselors and great friends. No matter what is going on everyone is in these situations together!
