Former President of the United States Donald J. Trump recently became the first U.S President to have a mugshot taken after authorities indicted him over his effects to overturn the 2020 election. Many people online are already making Trump’s mugshot into a pretty funny meme. In other news between the war of Russia and Ukraine as Ukraine says that they are having “successes” on the battlefield mainly in the south and east of Ukraine itself. Some of Ukraine’s attack operators were trying to take back the devastated eastern city of Bakhmut, which the operators were captured by Russian troops. The final major story to cover is quite an interesting comment to say the least. Igor Girkin, a former Russian ultranationalist who is currently awaiting trial for inciting extremism, said earlier today that he would make a better president than current president Vladmir Putin. Girkin called Putin out for being very gullible and “too kind” towards the people of Russia. Igor has already issued a post for a run as a candidate for president of Russia in March of 2024 but Putin looks to try and seek six more years as president. Who could come out on top with around half of 2023 left to go? It looks like that Igor Girkin will look like an unlikely contender to all but his comments towards Putin were quite an interesting development to discuss about.
