Grandma I Am Missing You Like Crazy

Grandma I am missing you like crazy

And as time goes on, I find that my memories of you are fading

How could this be

What is going on

Am I losing my mind

My memories of you should still be strong

How can I forget the woman who helped raise me

From the time I was a little baby

How can I forget your soft warm hugs and all your gentle love

How can I forget that whenever I needed you,

You were always there

Tell me how can I forget the times you spent doing my hair

How can I forget the times I sat with you at church

Praying, clapping, and singing

Watching the lord do his work

Grandma I am missing you more than anyone could even know

And somethings I often say or do comes back and reminds me of you

That is when I feel my face full of tears

Knowing that you have been all these years

And people say time will heal open wounds

As much as I am missing you,

I know that is just not true
