If you are like me, then you love a great show! Especially if a series gets signed for another season. We connect with the characters and storyline and anticipate the outcomes. I highly recommend the following series for anyone interested. “The Summer I Turned Pretty” was one of Prime Video’s most popular shows when it was released last summer, June of 2022. The series is based on the New York Times Best Seller, “The Summer I Turned Pretty” book trilogy written by Jenny Han. She is also the writer of the series “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before”. Season one only has seven episodes and will leave you begging for more! Isabel “Belly” Conklin spends the summers in the fictional beach town of Cousins beach with her mother Laurel, older brother Steven, her mother’s childhood best friend Susannah and her two sons Conrad and Jeremiah. Season one focuses on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers. It is a story about first love, but also the heartbreak that comes along with it. Some of the cast includes Lola Tung as Belly, Gavin Cassalegno as Jeremiah Fisher, and Christopher Briney as Conrad Fisher. Season two is expected to premiere summer 2023.
