Thursday, November 11th was Veterans Day and GHS honored that on Friday when we held our Veteran’s Day Assembly. The Assembly took place in the Reservation and we had student and guest speakers. The Assembly was brought to us thanks to Mr. Pall who is a Veteran himself. 

We took the day to honor those who have served.

GHS Senior President Kensley Skates shared her thoughts on Veteran’s Day. She explained that it’s very important and that it honors our hero’s that served and that there should be more Veteran’s Days to honor the veteran’s that went in and risked their lives to serve our country. She said that she is looking forward to the Veteran’s Day program Friday, November 12th, 2021.

Gaffney High’s Chorus and Band performed as well and did a wonderful job.
