With much time to spare due to quarantine, there has been an abundance of music releases that have hit the industry and provided everyone entertainment through this tough time. There are many projects from a variety of artists to be released which has their fans excited! Here are a few of the new future music releases from some artists:

Superstar Billie Eilish revealed last week that her sophomore album, “Happier Than Ever” is set to release on July 30th. She shared a snippet from the album on her Instagram. The first single from the album, “Your Power” was released on April 29 which is a powerful ballad with an important message of sexual abuse and harassment.

 

 

After the huge success of “driver’s license,” Olivia Rodrigo has announced the release of her debut album “Sour” set to come out on May 21st. The album consists of 11 songs that include “driver’s license” and her second single “deja vu.”

 

 

 

Global pop group BTS announced their new single “Butter” through an hour long video of melting butter. The single will be released on May 21st and set to impact radio on May 24th. According to a press release, “Butter” will be a “dance pop track brimming with the smooth yet charismatic charm of BTS.” This will be the group’s second English single after “Dynamite.”

 

 

 

Lana Del Rey moves to Instagram to announce her eighth studio album “Blue Bannister” which is set to release on July 4. This come after her recently released album “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” that met great success on the Billboard charts. Shortly after, Lana Del Rey announced another new album titled, “Rock Candy Sweet” set to release on June 1.

 

 

 

Twenty One Pilots are back and have announced their new album “Scaled and Icy” to be released on May 21st. Their first single, “Shy Away” from the album was released a month ago. In a press release, “Scaled and Icy” is “The result is a collection of songs that push forward through setbacks and focus on the possibilities worth remembering.”
