This past Saturday, April 17, 2021, my parents and I took off to Charlotte, North Carolina to look for a car. As I am seventeen, and about to start driving, I’ll need a car. We have been looking online for weeks for the perfect car for me until we finally found it.

We went with the intentions of buying a 2016 Red Hyundai Elantra that we had been looking at for weeks online and were so excited to finally purchase. However, after driving all the way to Charlotte for the car, as soon as we got to the dealership, we saw someone else in the car getting ready to drive away. My parents and I were in a state of confusion. We didn’t know what to do other than to move on and keep looking at other cars.

After spending hours at the dealership looking at all kinds of cars, we finally found THE car. We thought that we loved the Elantra, but this car is even more beautiful. We ended up buying a 2018 black Mazda 3 sport. It is beautiful.

My family and I dreaded seeing the other car go, and spending so much time at the dealership, but in the end the wait was so worth it. And seeing the other car go was a very pleasant surprise. I love the Mazda 3, and am so happy that it is MY car. This car suits me way more than the Elantra and I love it so much. My family and I are all obsessed with it. I am so thankful for my car, and for my parents for buying me this car.
