This year’s prom will be held on May 8, 2021 from 8-11 p.m. at GHS in the back teacher parking lot in order to abide by COVID guidelines. Despite being outside, there will be white tents similar to big events like weddings, and glowing decorations that’ll light up the night!

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased from April 28 to May 7. No tickets will be sold after 3:30 on May 7, nor on the day of prom. Guest approval forms can be picked up from Jill Hanna in room 2470. However, only seniors can invite outside guests, and they must be under the age of 20 and 10th grade and above.

To get an idea of the dress code, you can look outside of room 2470 where examples of acceptable dresses are displayed. Also, because prom will be held outside this year, keep in mind of the weather when selecting your attire.

In order to enter prom, you must have your ticket and display a picture ID. If you are a virtual student, you will still be able to attend prom as long as you are in a junior or senior homeroom.
