What do you do in your spare time? Do you binge watch tv shows on Netflix, or spend hours on social media? If you’re like me, you may have one particular activity that you thoroughly enjoy doing any time you get the chance.

If you didn’t understand the title of this article, you probably are not like me, but any time I get the chance or get free time, I typically spend it watching Friends. If you don’t watch the show, you have probably at least heard of it before. Friends is a tv show based around 6 friends who live in New York and live very close and do everything together, sometimes even fall in love with one another. This is one of those tv shows that you can’t watch without dying laughing every few minutes or being in awe of a cute moment between all of the friends. If you watch Friends you already knew that information so I won’t bore you anymore of it, however I do have some interesting facts that you may not have known. I watch Friends religiously, and I did not even know some of this so stay tuned if you want to find out some interesting things about your favorite tv show…

1. Friends was originally called Insomnia Café (along with some other things as well)
2. Originally the producers asked Courtney Cox to play the role of Rachel, but she refused and requested the character Monica because she liked the “strong character Monica portrayed.”
3. Lisa Kudrow (also known as Phoebe) really did not know how to play guitar. They even brought in a teacher to try and teach it to her but she “wasn’t getting it.”
4. The cast had a huddle before every show.
5. Jennifer Aniston almost did not return for the last season of the show. She questioned “How much more Rachel do I have in me?”
6. Jennifer Aniston was not a big fan of her hair style for playing the character of Rachel In fact, she didn’t even know how to fix it herself.
7. Jennifer Aniston watches the show probably just as much as you do. She admitted that she “cannot resist leaving it on the tv when it comes on.”
8. Before the show was cast, the original love story was set to be between Monica and Joey.
9. The storyline of Phoebe “having her brother’s triplets” was written-in when Kudrow announced her real-life pregnancy.
10. Creator Marta Kauffman does not want the show to be rebooted or revived. She feels that once Chandler and Monica left New York with their kids in the show that the story “ended there.”

As you can tell, there are a lot crazy and interesting facts about the tv show that a lot of people don’t know. Friends is such a fun and amazing show for people of multiple ages! Honestly, watching all of the episodes and then re-watching them all or just watching some random ones here and there, they never grow old!
