We will all remember the year Covid-19 took over our normal day lives; the year masks and social distancing became a forced action in order to stay healthy and safe from the sickness called Covid-19. The Coronavirus still follows us into 2021, and days of wearing a mask and staying our distance are becoming normal.
What is the update on Covid-19 testing in 2021?
- Up to today there has been over 300 million tests for the Coronavirus
- The Coronavirus has killed over 2.07 million people worldwide
- Over 97 million people have been infected with Covid-19
- Health care providers were hoping at least 40% of people are willing to get the Coronavirus vaccine in order to slow Covid-19 down; however that will take time.
- As of January 21st, 2021, there was a new death toll record of the pandemic. Meaning that there was a world rise in the death toll, showing no sign of the pandemic slowing down anytime soon.
Is there a cure for the Coronavirus?
- There is now a Covid-19 vaccine which are mostly being given in pharmacies, clinic’s, and by any other health providers.
- There are two doses of the vaccine, this first dose helps the immune system to fight off Covid-19 and the second dose helps to further your immune system to protect you from Covid-19 for a longer time period.
- In order to get the vaccine, you have to be at least 3 months clear without the Coronavirus in your immune system and clear of feeling sick.
