Class of 1990

Abby Allison, Staff Writer

The 1990s is a decade that is adored by many teens today. From the music to the fashion, so many wish they could have been a teen in the 90s.

90s fashion has had a big impact on fashion trends today. Things such as high waisted jeans, chokers, overalls, crop tops, scrunchies, flannels, and oversized tees saw their start in the 90s, and are still extremely popular today.

1990 gave us amazing shows such as Beverly Hills 90210, Twin Peaks, Blossom, The Fresh Prince of Bell-Air, and In Living Color. It also gave us movies such as Edward Scissorhands, Misery, Pretty Woman, and Home Alone.

Some hit songs from 1990 were “Vogue” by Madonna, “Hold On” by Wilson Phillips, “Nothing Compares 2 U” by Sinéad O’Connor, “Vision of Love” by Mariah Carey, and “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel.
