Chadwick Boseman was a inspiration to many and was known as the Black Panther. He tragically passed Friday, August 28th of colon cancer.

In 2016 he had been diagnosed with colon cancer and has kept the diagnosis a secret.

Chadwick was well known for his role as Black Panther, but he also played many historical figures such as Jackie Robinson in the movie 42, Thurgood Mashall in Marshall, and James Brown in Get on Up.

Boseman starred in many movies after his diagnosis and fans had recently noted his loss of weight. He was only 43 years old and leaves behind a wife.

Man celebrities have left tributes to Bosemen and many spoke of his impact and inspiring words. One of the most tear jerking experiences was on Josh Gad shared with the internet. In one of the last texts Boseman sent him a long message entitled “Catch the Rain.” In the message he spoke of the rain and how dreary it was in Calfifornia and the qaurantine. The most touching and unfortunate part of the message reads “We should take advantage of every moment we can to enjoy the simplicity of God’s creation, whether it be clear skies and sun or clouded over with gloom. And hey, if the air is this clear right now, and it does rain tomorrow, I might even put jars and bins out and catch the rain.”

Bosemans impact on the African-American community and the world will forever be one of the most inspiration and beautiful thing. His widsom and love for others will continue to live on through his memory and Black Panter.
