Welcome Back GHS

Welcome back Gaffney Indians!

This year has been quite a ride. The last time everyone stepped foot in school was in March and now, the doors have opened again. Despite a current pandemic happening, Governor Henry McMaster decided to open schools again with the choice of online or in-person learning.

The Cherokee County School District announced their plan to open schools on an A/B schedule in early August. As of now, everyone will continue to attend school on this schedule until further notice. Regarding extracurricular activities, they are currently put on hold until the district determines it is safe to move forward.

Students in grades 2-12 are required to wear masks to school, and hand sanitizer will be supplied in each classroom. Social distancing will be practiced in the classroom and teachers have been instructed to regularly clean materials and desks.

Further updates will be published as they are announced. Visit the District website or the GHS website for more information.
