The Christmas Child Tradition

Makayla Horton, Features Co-Editor

Each year for the last ten years, Gaffney High School adopts between 90-100 children to get gifts for children who may not be as fortunate as others. Each first period gets a Christmas child, and the students raise money or bring in gifts for each child. Clubs at GHS can choose to have a Christmas Child as well. GHS collects money and gifts for two weeks, then Salvation Army collects and gives the gifts out to the community. Check out our photos of the 2019 Christmas Child donations from the generous students and staff at GHS.
