Just a Junior

Lauren Ingle, Features Co-Editor

As a junior in high school, life can be very stressful. I personally have no clue what I want to major in, or where I want to go for college.

So many people tell you to choose what you want to be by the end of your 12th grade year. The truth is you do not have to do this. Whether you want to go to a four year college or go to a community college, you can always change your classes, or your major. Just make sure it is something you like and want to do. In the end, your career is something you will be doing for the rest of your life, so make sure you enjoy it. Life is too short to jump into something that in the long run you may dislike.

Scholarships are important as well. Some are offered to tenth, eleventh and twelfth graders, so if you want to save some money, in your free time you can always look at the scholarships list.

You also have to make a decision if you want to be in state or out of state, and if you want to go far or stay close.

In the end all of these are tough decisions but they’re just another step into adulthood.
