With the kick off of football season coming up, we are taking a look at out new mascot. Creigh Hughey is a junior at GHS. In past years he’s been on Gaffney High’s football team, played golf, been involved with the wrestling tea, and played baseball. This year, as well as being the mascot he is looking to be part of the swim team and tennis teams.

After talking with Creigh and some of his friends, it is obvious that he is ecstatic to be the mascot. His sister, Peyton Hughey, described Creigh as someone with a big personality and being very easy to talk to. Luke Hazle, one of Creigh’s good friends, expressed that he thought Creigh would be the best Indian GHS has ever had.

It is obvious Creigh’s friends are proud of his title as the mascot. Everyone is excited for the first home game tonight, and it’s certain Creigh is going to do an awesome job hyping up the crowd.
