After bouncing back from a 3-1 series deficit, the Cubs punched their ticket  into game seven of the 2016 MLB World Series.  The Cubs dominated on the offensive side of the ball from the very start, scoring three runs in the top of the first inning.  Kris Bryant put the team up first following his homer out to left field.  Anthony Rizzo and Ben Zobrist would get on base after  they both singled to right field.  Addison Russell would send them to home, as he doubled over to right center. The Cubs would escape the inning with a 3-0 lead, but they were not finished with revenge, yet. It  would only be two innings later when they would dominate the diamond even more. Kyle Schwarber would begin the inning with a walk. Anthony Rizzo singled to center field, which put Schwarber at second. Zobrist would  then sent a single to right, as Rizzo would reach second while Schwarber held third. Addison Russell then hit a homer out to center, a grand slam prompting the Cubs huge 7-0 lead. Cleveland would answer back by putting their first run on the board in the bottom of the 4th.

Jason Kipnis sent a double deep into center field. Mike Napoli’s single to center would bring Kipnis home scoring the Indians’ first run. Cleveland continued their efforts of a comeback into the bottom of the 5th inning, when Kipnis homered a hit to left field.  The game remained a 7-2 Cubs lead bringing the game to the 9th inning.  The Cubs offense would  continue their strike on the Indians’ defense in the top of the 9th, by scoring 2 more runs.  Kris Bryant would send a single to left center, which would be followed  by a home run from Anthony. The Indians would try to  make a rigorous comeback in the bottom of the inning; however, Brandon Guyer’s 1 run following his walk and a advance play from Roberto Perez. The Cubs would go on to win the game 9-3, which brings the series to game seven, which will take place on Wednesday night in Cleveland. Will the Cubs make history by winning the title for the first time in 108 years after overcoming a 3-1 deficit, or will the championship magic of Cleveland bring the Indians back to victory?
