If you’ve been on the Internet any time soon, you’ve probably seen a picture of a little girl with some waffles, or a few kids who like to ride bikes. An explanation behind these random sightings would be the new phenomenon on Netflix known as Stranger Things. Stranger Things is a show created by Matt and Ross Duffer, also known as the Duffer Brothers. The show takes place in a town called Hawkins, Indiana, and it is centered around a group of people trying to solve the mysterious disappearance of a little boy. The eight-episode season is full of drama, hilarious content, and cliff-hangers that will leave you watching all eight episodes in one Netflix session.

The show has gained massive popularity, so it’s very hard to miss it on social media. This past Halloween many people dressed as Eleven, a unique character on the show. The cast has also interviewed on shows such as The Tonight Show, and they are currently promoting season two, which is set to debut in 2017, at Comic Con conferences across the country.
