The NBA Season kicked off two weeks ago after the Denver Nuggets won their first championship in franchise history. Denver actually kicked the very first game taking down the Los Angeles Lakers. At the time of this article the Nuggets are currently the top team in the western conference while my favorite team the Philadelphia 76ers are the best team in the eastern conference. The top scorer in the NBA currently is my favorite player from the 76ers Joel Embiid with almost 32 points a game to his name. The NBA are in the middle of a new concept this season called the in season play tournament to try to bring excitement to the new NBA season and draw a bigger audience in stadiums and viewers on TV. Other big names that will be dominating the scene this involves legends in the sport like Lerbron James, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant. Also in the mix up with some all time greats you have former MVPs in Nikola Jokic and Giannis Antetokounmpo ready to tack on another star making performance this season. This season will be unlike any other because a good amount of players that made a team known were traded off or didn’t want to play with them to try and spread their full potential in a more well known franchise. There is a lot to look forward to this season and that only begs the question. Which team will rise to the top of the most famous basketball league of all time? What player is gonna try and break through the glass ceiling and show their skills in front of millions and millions of screaming fans? We will just have to wait and find out who could be the best.
