Mama, I am sorry for all the things I put you through, 

I know there have been so many times we have had our ups and downs, 

 So many tears shed down through the years I know we cannot get back,  

but when it is all said and done, I am glad you had my back, 

You pray for me like no other, 

That is why I’m glad to have you as my mother, 

Because no one else would put up with all I put you through, 

And for that I am sorry, 

Mama if I could take it back I would, 

But I cannot no matter how bad I wish I could, 

So, I wrote this poem to tell you just how much I love you 

And thank you for being my mama.
